Negligence or Carelessness is an inability to practice proper or potentially moral controlled consideration expected to be practiced among determined conditions. The territory of misdeed law known as negligence or carelessness includes hurt brought about by neglecting to go about as a type of recklessness conceivably with special conditions.
The understanding of negligence of duty has been covered by our heads in the Christian communities which are endangering the lives of the vulnerable Christian.
Considering the report emerging from a town in the Eastern part of Ghana known as Akyem Batabi in relation to the collapse of a storey building alleged to be in possession of a Christian leader named Prophet Akoa Isaac. According to a report, this church building has been in existence, uncompleted and hanging “dilapidated” and neglected for 26 years without maintenance. The weak building has been containing church members and the aforementioned Senior prophet who knew the state and the consequences of which the building could end them.
Unfortunately, the lives of 16 members of the church have been reportedly terminated which is very sad, and ironically, the owner who did not see to the caring of the building is alive though I am not wishing him dead.
The book of Ezra chapter 4 verses 22 requires us as Christians to “beware of being negligent in carrying out this matter; further asks, why should damage increase to the detriment of the kings?”
Why should Christians know the good and would not do for the sake of Grace and Faith?. Even our own creator who is the Supreme Being has urged us to do things in an orderly and decent manner. (1 Corinthians 14:40).
Let’s remember that grace and faith will never hold a neglected building when it is collapsing. It’s about time Christians are educated on the necessity of being careful with what we possess to avoid victimizing and terminating our own precious lives.
May the souls of the deceased rest in perfect peace.
