The now-reigning Vodafone Ghana Music Artist of the Year, Diana Antwi Hamilton has finally unveiled her latest gospel music dubbed “AWURADE YE” which is translated “DO IT LORD” to inspire Christians.
The urban contemporary gospel song “AWURADE YE (DO IT LORD)” elaborates on the faithfulness of God to still perform the wonders He has been doing in the lives of His sons and daughter. Since life’s depressions and anxiety is inevitable, the gospel musician set out on her latest to get us to inspire in our Christian journey.
According to her, she describes the song to be the believers’ hope in such difficult times. She quoted what is written in Numbers 23:19.19.
“God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?”, to hear these words are the believers’ hope and that we should declare that God will do it.
“When we go through difficult times, we often wonder where God is in the situation. This is a human response when things seem to be falling apart. This song wishes to remind you that what God has done before He can do it again.”
After releasing powerful and good visuals for “AWURADE YE (DO IT LORD)”, she expressed her sincere gratitude to all who made this possible for her. Among the list are Enterprise Life, Yazz, Roots Flavours and Sugar N Spice Cake (Accra), Shik Collections, Manuel Photography, DH by DH, and Cutie Bridals. The song was written and composed by the artist herself, Diana Hamilton. David Kyei (Kaywa), once a judge in MTN HitMaker and known for his numerous work in producing songs produced Diana’s AWURADE YE (DO IT, LORD). Flashback Media did wonderful work on the video production.
