Many Christians and non-Christians fans cannot wait to have their share in the first episode that will be out in their third season.
This special release of the first episode will tell the story of Jesus’ birth through the endeavors of Mary and Joseph. The show will also feature performances from Christian artists and groups like the lives of Phil Wickham, Maverick City, For King and Country, and others.
Since the series was released in 2019, it has gained a total of more than 300 million views across 190 countries. This year’s Christmas special marks the first time crowdfunded show will be in cinemas. The show before its release has sold $1.5 million in sales in the first 12 hours, shattering Fathom Events presale records and demand still increasing.
“Originally slated to premiere in 1079 theatres, we’ve already added 450+ locations and thousands of screens to satisfy demand, and anticipate these numbers will continue to grow” as stated by the CEO of Fanthom Events, Nutt.
He continued to say that he except the show to be the biggest hits of the season.
According to a CBN news report, “The Chosen” television series which was produced by Loaves and Fishes Productions and distributed by Angel Studios, completed a second season earlier this year and remains the Number 1 highest crowd-funded project ever.
With such a breathtaking biblical storyline, we continue to believe that “The Chosen” will take Christianity far and better. Can’t wait but have to wait, December 1 will be the day.
The show will have a ten-day run in theatres and screens before becoming available to stream on the Chosen App. The app has so far reached more than 5 million on Google Play Store.
