It has been said throughout ages that the end of a thing is better than its beginning. Well, this saying which is found in Ecclesiastes 7:8 is very much true however in life’s journey, crucial decisions are made at the start. Therefore for one to stand tall in the end, his or her beginning must be wonderfully wrought.
The Christian’s footprint journey isn’t an ordinary one but God-filled decisions with struggles, challenges, losses, but in the latter part of is joy and establishment.
“But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.” 1 Peter 5:10 (NKJV).
Terrian, an American singer, and songwriter shares her side of her journey through her latest album “Genesis of Terrian”.
“I gave it this title because it truly does feel like my beginning. Each song differs sonically, making this a true reflection of who I am as a songwriter and artist. Lyrically, most of this EP deals with my journey of wrestling and surrendering. I’ve found solace in God’s word and what He has taught me in every season. I just wanted to sing about it.” Terrian shares.
As a child, Terrian was born and raised in Memphis, TN where she has rooted herself in community and mentorship being part of AngelStreet Memphis. AngelStreet aims at mentoring girls in musical training in areas with limited artistic opportunities while empowering girls to understand their values, discovering their purposes, and becoming creative leaders. Terrian has become part of this initiative and has grown to become one of the best in the industry.
