The tragic death of the late George Floyd has left ignite the hero in people’s lives as they now eagerly fight for their lives as blacks to buried racism. The late George Floyd was a victim of 8 minutes 46 seconds of brutal attack leading to loss of his life.
After two weeks of a worldwide protest against racism, the late George Floyd was finally laid to rest at his hometown in Houston, Texas. His buried service was exceptional; attendance of celebrities, pastors, politicians.
Words of encouragement and igniting quotes were made at his buried service for the call of racial justice. “George Floyd was not expendable- this is why we’re here”, said Al Green, the local Democratic Congressman. “His crime eas that he was born black”. He added to his speech that God took the rejected stone and made him the cornerstone of a movement that’s going to change the whole wide world.
Governor Tim Walz called on people to honour the funeral by observing eight minute 46 seconds for Floyd.
After six hours of service, his coffin was taken to a cemetery in Pearland, for a burial ceremony.
His death has indeed and truly change a lot of lives; people believing in Jesus Christ as their Saviour, passing a bill to sure citizen’s safety against police and a lot more. His death was a positive death.
