Pastor Jones Amoateng, the founder of the Brian Jones Foundation, has made a heartwarming gesture of kindness towards a mother and her child. In a Facebook post on Thursday, he recounted how he came across a woman selling bananas with her six-month-old baby strapped to her back.
Despite her baby being on the verge of falling off, the woman was still working hard to earn a living. Touched by her plight, Pastor Amoateng decided to step in and help. He paid for the entire tray of bananas and also gave her the money she would have earned for the whole week so she could rest.
“So yesterday whiles taking a stroll in my area, I saw a woman selling bananas with a little child at her back. I was led to call her and support her, strangely I asked her name and she said ABIGAIL (same name as my wife). That alone was a confirmation for me. The child was 6 months old and I could see the child almost falling off but she still has to find money to feed the baby.
I was led to pay off the full tray of bananas and also give her the whole week’s money from the banana sale she would have made so she can rest this week.” He stated
The pastor went on to reveal that the Brian Jones Foundation will take care of the woman’s six-month-old child, ensuring that the child is well taken care of. “By God’s grace, the Brian Jones Foundation has decided to take care of the 6 months child.”
He also highlighted the foundation’s ongoing efforts to support underprivileged children through education, revealing that they are currently supporting 35 children in school. “This year the foundation is supporting 35 children through school. We will provide details on where to contact us.”
