Joel and Luke Smallbone, the duo artiste for KING & COUNTRY said that they were really daunted when writing original songs for Christmas that this could be a real big deal for them. In a statement that was released by them after their fresh big win of Billboard Music Awards for Top Christian Song state that: “Writing an original Christmas song is a bit of a daunting task, but we were always very intrigued by what it looked like when the angels met the shepherds. What did it look like, and what was being said? One of the beautiful storylines of the song is that the simple shepherds were the first ones to see the beautiful spectacle in the sky, and we thought it would be an appropriate story to tell through song for A Drummer Boy Christmas.”

for KING & COUNTRY announced “A Drummer Boy Drive-In: The Christmas Tour.” The tour is aimed at supporting the Salvation Army. According to Christian Beat, concertgoers can bring new, unwrapped toys that will be collected by representatives from the local Salvation Army and distributed to families struggling during the holiday season.
“Heavenly Hosts” starts with a sparse piano introduction that soon evolves into a full orchestra crescendo as Joel and Luke state declaratively “love has come to save us.”
Just after recently celebrating Billboard Music Award win for the GRAMMY No. 1 hit “God Only Knows,” the Australian brothers have been nominated for their second American Music Award in the Favorite Artist – Contemporary Inspirational category. The category also features two great nominated artists Lauren Daigle and Kanye West.
