Organizers of Ghana Music Awards USA on Saturday, April 17 announced nominations for the 2021 edition of the awards at the Westin Mount Laurel in New Jersey. Positively, the Gospel side of the Ghanaian music industry was represented fairly by Diana Hamilton, Celestine Donkor, MOG Music, Joe Mettle and several popular and emerging Ghanaian gospel musicians who dropped their songs between January and December 2020 last year.
This year’s edition features a tall list of Gospel artists who made it to the list of nominees in several award categories. Diana Hamilton once again secured a slot in the Artist of the Year category where she competes with 7 top secular musicians. She is followed by Kobby Salm who also is heading against 14 others in the Emerging Artist of the Year category.
The Ghana Music Awards-USA annual awards event is organized by Don’s Music Production in collaboration with Highlife Media. With the sole aim of promoting, recognizing, and awarding the hard work of Ghanaian musicians in the diaspora.
The main awards ceremony is to come on at the Tropicana Hotel Atlantic City, New Jersey coming August 28.
