Kanye West charity works continue to inspire people across the globe, as he once again demonstrated his kindness towards the families of the late George Floyd; whose death has ignited a lot of people to fight for the lives of blacks (#blacklivesmatter), Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor.
According to BBC, Kanye West has set up a fund to cover the cost of university for George Floyd’s six-year-old daughter Gianna. He also donated £1.5 million to other causes, including paying the legal fees of Ahmaud Arbery; a man who was shot and killed in Georgia while jogging and Breonna Taylor; she was an emergency medical technician, who was killed after Kentucky police raided her home in Marcy.
Kanye West didn’t only donate to these people but also donated money to multiple black-owned businesses across the country, including in his hometown of Chicago. His generosity acted also serves as a protest against racial injustice and police brutality which has become a daily occurrence.
